DroneMatic Terms of Service

Welcome to DroneMatic (“Company,” “we,” “our,” or “us”).
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the DroneMatic website, web application, and related services (collectively, the “Service”).

By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Description of Service

DroneMatic is a browser-based drone show design platform that allows users to:

  • Create and edit drone light show choreography
  • Simulate shows in 3D
  • Export drone trajectory files in various formats
  • Access design templates
  • Manage subscriptions and billing

DroneMatic does not:

  • Operate drones
  • Provide flight control software
  • Provide hardware
  • Guarantee compatibility with all drone ecosystems
  • Guarantee regulatory compliance

You are solely responsible for safe and lawful drone operation.

2. Eligibility

You must:

  • Be at least 18 years old
  • Have legal authority to enter into this agreement
  • Comply with all applicable drone laws and aviation regulations in your jurisdiction

3. Accounts

You agree to:

  • Provide accurate registration information
  • Maintain the security of your account
  • Be responsible for all activity under your account

We are not liable for unauthorized access resulting from your failure to secure credentials.

4. Subscription & Billing

4.1 Paid Plans

DroneMatic offers paid subscription tiers.

Subscriptions:

  • May include a free trial period (if applicable)
  • Automatically renew unless canceled
  • Are billed via Stripe or other authorized payment processor

4.2 Trial Period

If a free trial is offered:

  • Billing begins automatically after the trial period ends
  • You may cancel before the trial ends to avoid charges

4.3 Refunds

Unless otherwise stated:

  • Payments are non-refundable
  • We may issue refunds at our sole discretion

5. Templates & Marketplace (If Applicable)

Premium templates may be available for purchase.

  • Templates are licensed, not sold.
  • License grants non-exclusive use in drone show production.
  • Reselling or redistributing templates without permission is prohibited.

Future marketplace features may include third-party sellers. We are not responsible for third-party content quality or accuracy.

6. Exported Files & Drone Execution

DroneMatic exports trajectory and choreography data.

You acknowledge:

  • Exported files may require adaptation for your specific drone hardware
  • DroneMatic does not guarantee flight safety
  • DroneMatic does not validate compliance with aviation regulations
  • You are solely responsible for:
    • Pre-flight checks
    • Airspace permissions
    • Safety protocols
    • Collision avoidance
    • Regulatory compliance

DroneMatic is not liable for drone crashes, property damage, injury, regulatory fines, or other flight-related incidents.

7. Intellectual Property

All DroneMatic software, branding, and design elements are owned by the Company.

You may not:

  • Reverse engineer the Service
  • Copy source code
  • Replicate proprietary logic
  • Resell access to the platform

You retain ownership of your original choreography designs.

8. User Content

You are responsible for all content you upload, including:

  • Audio files
  • Custom formations
  • Imported designs

You represent that you have rights to use uploaded content.

We reserve the right to remove content that violates law or policy.

9. Prohibited Use

You may not:

  • Use the Service for unlawful drone operations
  • Attempt to bypass subscription controls
  • Interfere with platform security
  • Upload malicious content
  • Use the Service in violation of aviation laws

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE.”

We make no warranties regarding:

  • Accuracy of simulations
  • Compatibility with all drone systems
  • Regulatory compliance
  • Uninterrupted availability

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

DroneMatic shall not be liable for:

  • Indirect or consequential damages
  • Loss of profits
  • Drone crashes
  • Property damage
  • Personal injury
  • Regulatory fines
  • Hardware failures

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you in the past 12 months.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless DroneMatic from claims arising from:

  • Your drone operations
  • Violation of aviation laws
  • Third-party claims related to your use of exported files

13. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms.

You may cancel your subscription at any time.

14. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of [STATE/COUNTRY].

15. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms periodically. Continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of updates.
